Compulsory Contractual Insurance

Compulsory Contractual Insurance Abstract The subject of this diploma thesis is legal regulation of compulsory contractual insurance in the Czech legislation with a focus on its general regulation in civil law. The special regulation of compulsory liability insurance for lawyers, health service providers and the insurance of a guarantee in case of bankruptcy of the travel agency is also called for. The methods of description, analysis and, to a lesser extent, comparisons are used to fulfil the objectives of this work. The first chapter deals with the concept of compulsory contractual insurance. It includes a historical excursion. The largest part of the chapter describes the types of compulsory insurance and their distinction from voluntary and statutory insurance. The conclusion of this section is a preview of the legislation on compulsory contractual insurance in selected countries. The second chapter focuses on the description and analysis of the current legislation on compulsory insurance. At the beginning of the chapter, a description of the general regulation of the insurance contract, its subjects and form are made. Insurance against insolvency tour operators

The diploma thesis on Insurance against insolvency tour operators is engaged in the insurance of guarantee in the tour operators market. Those organizations are obliged to be insured according to the Civil Code Law n. 159/1999 Sb. o některých podmínkách podnikání v oblasti cestovního ruchu. The thesis is focused on the tour operators that follow this obligation required by government and insurance companies provide the insurance of insolvency.
The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part is definition of tourism and organizations which operate in tourism market. There is the definition of insurance expected especially related to tourism. The end of theoretical part explained insurance against insolvency tour operators and related models for predicting financial distress.
The practical part is focused on analysis of tour operators insurance and creating recommendations for individual organizations. The first part is targeted to build questionnaire, which focuses on evaluation of tour operator s relation to obligatory insurance against insolvency. Another part is focused on financial analysis of the already bankrupt tour operator with the intention to use bankruptcy and credibility models as a tool for prediction of companies financial distress. The last part of the thesis contains controlled interview with an insurance company employee that provides insolvency insurance. At the end of the thesis is the comparison of results prepared recommendations for organizations that combines insurance against insolvency of tour operators.

Pojištění subjektů v oblasti cestovního ruchu

Efimova, A. Insurance of subjects in tourism. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. The estimated bachelor thesis is focused on tourism industry insurance. First of all theoretical and legislative bases of travel insurance and mandatory insurance for the case of insolvency of travel agency are described. Then the legislative framework of mandatory insurance for the case of insolvency of travel agency in Austria is illustrated and compared with Czech variant. Secondly, practical examples of claims settlement of requirements by Czech insurance companies are given. In conclusion, recommendations are established for travel agency managers and offers of modifications of the relevant law of the Czech Republic, basing on the comparison of the theoretical and practical parts.

Consumer protection in travel agency

In my master{\crq}s thesis I focused on problems of protection of consumer in travel agencies related sale tours, offering information, guaranties and at last but not least on situations in the case of bankruptcy. The main regulation in this thesis is the article 159/1999 Coll. and follow norms. The study is divided into three chapters and consists of 11 tables, 16 graphs, 7 schemes and 4 appendices.

Insurance guarantee in case of bankruptcy of a travel agency

Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu zákona č. 159/1999 Sb. a jeho novely a zkoumá důvody přijetí zákona. Práce zmiňuje také historii cestovních kanceláří v České republice, jejich vývoj a dělení. Podrobně se věnuje povinnému smluvnímu pojištění, popisuje jednotlivé kroky směřující k uzavření pojištění a postup při pojistné události. Pro názornost je uveden podnikatelský záměr založení fiktivní cestovní kanceláře a nabídka pojišťovny Uniqa na pojištění proti úpadku. Na závěr jsou zmíněny některé současné problémy v oblasti cestovního ruchu spojené se zákonem č. 159/1999 Sb.
